Snow is tough but dealing with it is even harder. Here are a few tips to keep you safe, warm, and happy during this snow storm!
Use a car floor mat to unstick cars stuck in snow. Place the floor mat in FRONT of the stuck tire just under the tread. This should provide traction to move the car out of the snow. Just don’t forget your floor mats!
Many drivers with rear-wheel-drive cars add bags of sand to their trunk to provide extra weight to improve control in winter weather, but those bags can be too heavy to move individually by smaller people and they’re a pain if you need to pour out a little sand for traction.
Taking a bike ride in the snow? Use zip ties to create more traction from your wheel to the snow. Keep the knot area to the side to save your tires though!
